My most recent film, Space Cowboy, premiered at TIFF. I came to filmmaking through art school, where I studied glass and experimental cinema. That training gave me a lasting interest in light, texture, and form—elements that continue to influence how I tell stories on screen. My first feature, Sunshine Superman, also premiered at TIFF and was released by CNN, Magnolia Pictures, and Universal International. Since then, I’ve directed Vice Versa: Chyna, about the wrestler Chyna, and created branded projects with Adidas, ESPN, and Accenture. I’m currently developing several international documentaries that span a range of genres, from music to endurance storytelling. Still, they’re all connected by the same impulse: to make films that are visually bold and emotionally honest. I am a citizen of Austria and the United States, but grew up in the Pacific Northwest.
